Have been going to Diglea for several years now, last there June 2007.
It is still a great site. The Rally field toilets and showers have been updated and are a lot better and include washing up facilities. Obviously if in this field when continually raining then it is going to be wet.
Rest of site is kept clean and tidy by the staff, who are always willing to help. Other toilet and shower blocks are clean and well kept.
Club on site plus other clubs in area, chip shop and grocery shop further down road to beach.
Would highly recommend this site

Bedenk dat de meeste mensen sneller iets schrijven over klachten, dan wanneer ze complimenten willen geven over goede service.

This site is very convenient for walking onto the beach. Toilets and showers are average and there was scope for improved cleanliness, but to be fair we were there in peak season when they were getting a lot of use.
Disappointing to arrive and see the high number of tatty old vans stored on unkempt pitches and to have to clear dog waste off the grass before we pitched up. Forever the optimist I thought things couldn't get any worse - but that was before we were woken in the night by the questionable comings and goings of visitors to an Adria tourer pitched a few yards away.
Definitely one we won't be visiting again.
Shame, it's in such a nice spot too.

I went to Diglea for three days last year and liked it so much we went back 2 more times and will go again this year. The tent field had a brand new toilet/shower block, which was thoroughly cleaned at the crack of dawn every morning. At least 2 other shower/toilet blocks available to use on other parts of the site. The rally field we were in is a bit prone to boggy areas in bad weather, so pick your pitch carefully. Lovely family atmosphere, helpful staff. 10 min stroll to a quiet beach (great for cockling). Little shop and chip shop on route to beach, normal prices (not tourist prices).

Arrived 21.15, warden very helpful, only stopped for 1 night, put on rally field, very quiet.
Toilet block spottless, well done.
Floor in Shower cubicles very dirty, not wardens fault, could do with some sort of seat in cubicle.
Will definitely be stopping again.

We have just returned from a week at Diglea. The weather was awful & the campsite is a bit on the windy side - but as it is very close to the coast / beach, it is to be expected. We were in the rally field; the pitch size was generous & we had plenty of choice. The management had coned off a couple of pitches they thought were getting boggy.
The shower / toilet / washing up facilities in the rally field were excellent - free, instant hot water at any time & plenty of toilet roll - all in a clean modern block.
The staff were really nice & the emphasis was definitely on family groups.
Highly recommended!!
