I think it is a great holiday and I will go again any day. It has been the best camping holiday I have ever been on - and I have been to a lot. I have been here more than 5 times and I love it!

A great site including a few statics, touring vans and tents, with hook-ups and open-plan field camping. Big safe kids play area, pub with good beer, local ales, friendly service, good, reasonably priced food, pool, indoor play area, washing up areas, clean well managed loos & showers, laundry with ice pack freezer etc.
Close to Dartmouth, good local beaches, plenty of places to visit, see and do.
Well managed; grass cut frequently, pitches managed, maintained and rotated. Even when busy (Dartmouth Regatta & Bank Holiday) the manager was interested in how the facilities faired under stretched conditions, so he could improve them.
Friendly service all round. Even though we were camped near the pub/snack bar, there was no noise in the evenings, or intrusive traffic as a result. Site has sea views, so can suffer the odd gust, so beware if you have a gazebo or open awning.

We visited Deer Park and were very miffed that the pool was not open, although I asked on booking for three holiday weeks that it had a pool to use, and trusted their reply that we were able to use it. When we arrived found that it was closed off.

This site is now owned by Camping and Caravanning Club. It no longer has a pool or indoor play area. It still has the pub on site, which has excellent beer and outstanding food and customer service. It also has an outdoor play area which caters for all ages. The facilities are good, but the parent and toddler room could be improved. The only down side is that the field used in July and August does have an entry issue when wet.
All the staff at the site are very friendly and accommodating.
