This C&CC site was newly built just 4 years ago. It has been very well laid out with many hard standings as the site is open all year. There have been thousands of trees and hedges planted. These divide the large pitches into attractive bays. The outlook is open and there is a large playing area and field. A wood has been created as a conservation area. The Kennet and Avon Canal runs along the site, which is excellent for walking or cycling. Next to the site is a very convenient pub. While we were there the site managers had just received an award from the motor caravan magazine for being one of their best sites. This site will just get better every year as the trees mature. A very popular site in a area with many interesting places to visit.

One of the best sites we stayed on in Scotland. Beautiful views, good facilities. And a lovely restaurant just up the road a bit further. Cost (for motorhome) was comparable with many others. Have stayed there twice and would do so again.

We have been to this site twice now, the second time was April 2009. It is very well managed and maintained with good facilities. Being right on the Avon & Kennet canal, it is ideal for walkers as it is a lovely tow-path walk into Devizes or walking in the other direction there is a beautiful canal-side pub. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about this site and will definitely be using it again and again and again!!
