Bedenk dat de meeste mensen sneller iets schrijven over klachten, dan wanneer ze complimenten willen geven over goede service.

Check in took 25 mins although they had all our details 4 months before. Had to try 3 pitches before we could fit the caravan onto a pitch, so what was the point of giving details when we originally booked. It cost £30 a night so we were expecting a great site. The showers weren't very clean the rubbish bins were full at all times of the day. If fact we never saw any staff cleaning or clearing rubbish the only staff we saw were in the in the shop.
Our 6 year old grandson was arriving from Jersey the day after we arrived and were told by Broadway house that the parents would be charged £5.50p per person if they stayed longer than 25 minutes when dropping the child off, when we asked what was the charge for they said for entering the site although they would not be using the facilities.
We had a long walk to the showers, not that we used them after we saw the state they were in, luckily we have a shower in our caravan and the waste disposal was in total darkness at night. We would not recommend staying at this site.

We stayed here in May 2009.
We were camping with our 2 teenagers and dogs. We had a large pitch at the top end of the park and electric was free. As were the showers, which were spotless. The whole site was set out well and very clean and tidy. The staff were all very helpful and we changed our pitch with no problems, as we had looked over the site and wanted to be at the top end. The clubhouse was good and the entertainment "cheesy" which we found hilarious. The kids enjoyed the bmx track and they were able to ramble around the site safely. There was a park area for the younger kids, which was put to good use. The shop was reasonably priced and stocked necessities. We were a short distance from the shower/toilet blocks, but were happy to walk down to them.
The pool was small and closed early - which is the only complaint we had about the site.
We did walk into Cheddar, however it was a fair distance with very little pathway's along a busy road so would not recommend it!!
Cheddar is lovely and we did the clifftop walk, the caves and museum. We all had a great time, which is a miracle keeping 2 teens happy!!! We stayed an extra night because we enjoyed it so much.
