We visited this site last October with our touring caravan. It was very easy to get to-no small winding lanes to negotiate, and well positioned for exploring the area. The hardstanding (gravel) pitch we had was very spacious, and level. Generally the pitches were well spread out so even if it were busy I don't think you would feel hemmed in at all.

The staff were friendly and very helpful with any query, and overall this site had a lovely feeling to it. Toilet block was always clean. There were only two shower cubicles in the ladies however so even though the park was quiet there was sometimes a wait. The cubicles would have benefited from being a little bigger as it was a squash if I took any of my children in with me. Having said that the fact they were clean-with constant hot water more than made up for the lack of space.

The local information area was useful, and the wardens were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area too-even recommending take-aways etc.

There was a small play area when we visited last year but I understand from their website that a new play area has been built this year.

There was an obvious pride taken in the park, you can tell by its cleanliness and the fact it is well maintained, and we would definitely return. If, like us, you prefer smaller friendly sites I could recommend this park without hesitation.

Visited Dolbeare Park May bank holiday, enjoyed it very much all very clean soft music playing in the excellent toilet and shower block site very clean, owners very friendly and helpful always checking everything is ok, play facilities in the centre field are great and our grandchildren age 6 and 3 were safe and we could watch them from our pitch ,all the children mixed well and played together nicely, felt very safe our daughter decided to join us in her tent and the owners were great pitching them near us, lovely veg prep and wash up area, we don’t usually go to the same sites as we like to travel around but this id definitely worth a return visit , we were going to return in august and were offered the same pitch but sadly events stopped us going, lovely site and people definitely worth a visit , I believe the owners have got it just right, well done !
