This is a brand new site opened March 2008. They have pitches for tents, camper vans and caravans, with electric hook up and plenty of space between pitches. The shower blocks are second to none they are warm very well laid out with separate cubicles with toilet, sink, shower and spaces for all you washing needs. Fully private baby changing areas are also available in this block and there is a disabled toilet. The site has full laundry services including a drying facility, as well as a wash area for pots and pans. A secure area for bikes is also provided.
Full disabled access throughout the whole of the site is available to any who need it. There are fresh water points in numerous places around the site so no long walks. There is a chemical disposal area as well. The clubhouse is well stocked and is bright and airy with a log burning fire for those cold winter nights. The hosts are helpful, friendly and a bundle of laughs. This is a secure site with a fob to let you in and out of the gates, also it is well laid out as there is one way in and one way out so no having to back up if something coming the other way. The views are also wonderful looking out over fields and farms to the sea.

We visited this site a few weeks ago and it was great, we had 2 tent pitches booked for 3 nights and a 3rd tent was joining us on the last night. The site was basically a field to accomodate for tents, motor homes and caravans but it was very tidy and had an allocated playing field for ball games etc. The toilet and shower facilities are very clean and extremely modern with a shower toilet and sink all in one room with a baby room too. The bar is very clean and modern with leather settees and a log fire as well as plasma t.v.s. The managers are friendly and very accomodating as they refunded the pitch fees for the 3rd tent due to gale force winds which they did not have to do. My only down side to the site was the fact there was no play park for the children but a plus to his was we played more games as a family.

I thought Dalton Piercy campsite was lovely: clean, warm and plenty of room in the showers; plenty of water points; good laundry area and plenty of hot water for the dishes. There is only the field for the kids to play in but what an advantage that was: it meant it was a real family break, a chance to enjoy playing games with the kids .The club house looked inviting but we never got the chance to sample it - we hope to on our next visit.
