A relaxed and friendly site, set in trees in the Luxembourg countryside.
Pitches were varied in size, but generally not very large. Some hardstandings, but most pitches were on grass, or more accurately, mud. This wasn't just one season's wear and tear - it didn't look like grass had grown on the centre of the pitches for several years. Pitches are marked by numbers on stones in the ground, and are roughly delimited by trees at the corners. The trees on the roadside corners can make it awkward getting a large caravan on and off the pitch, as the site roads are narrow.
Good restaurant on site, with very reasonable prices, and food of a greater variety and quality than we expected. Also a well stocked shop, with fresh bread, milk etc, a wide range of foodstuffs, camping gear, maps and books.
Showers and toilets were plentiful, clean, and with free hot water throughout.
Dishwashing was an arrangement I had not experienced before. There are two long semi-cylindrical troughs, with 4 cold water taps at each. You absolutely must have a washing up bowl here - not just to fetch water from the sinks in the toilet block, but also to contain it while you wash up. But there are drying racks above the troughs, which is a good idea.
The swimming pool is nice, if unadventurous. But it is solar heated, so could be cold. On our two visits, I think it was 22 degrees (bearable) and 18 (at which point no one was braving it).
Population was largely Dutch (75%) and English (20%) with a sprinkling of others. English visitors tend to be using it as a stopover in journeys further south (as we were), but some of the Dutch were there for two weeks or more, as we saw the same faces on our outward and return journeys.
If you really want a simple overnight stop, this site is a bit far off the main routes. You may do better with Kockelscheuer, which is nearer the motorways. If you do choose Auf Kengert, then I suggest navigating through the small roads from Arlon, rather than taking the long way round Luxembourg city on the motorway. It's not difficult, and the roads were well maintained, fairly well signposted, and not at all busy.
One last thing - Luxembourg is really confused about what language to speak. We saw a single petrol station with pumps labelled in German and Dutch, and a sign saying "Car Wash à partir de €5". There may have been Luxembourgois around as well! But the campsite staff speak a variety, and were willing to get by in whatever you could manage.
