Just visited this site and probably the best site we have ever been on.

It did help that the weather was fantastic.

Very large pitches with electric hook up on most. We have a large Gelert tent but had loads of room on the pitch.

Site is large, but it does not feel like it as pitches are grouped together in about 6 - 8 and surrounded by hedges and trees. Brilliant scrupulously clean toilet blocks. The views and walks from top of site are fantastic. Conwy about a mile away. Llandudno about 6 miles. Nearest Tesco in Conwy. Loads to see and do in surrounding area. About half hour drive to Llanberis (base of Snowdon) with lovely lakeside walk. We can’t wait to go back.

All true (Julie in June 2009) - but can be VERY noisy in high season if you are pitched next to revellers!

Went back here in July 2009 as we loved it a month earlier, this time we went at the weekend and were almost washed out by torrential rain the first night. It was not so quiet and peaceful as before but was full of people enjoying themselves so a bit more lively.

The toilet blocks were not as clean, with bits of loo roll all over the floor and basins dirty. The big skips for rubbish were overflowing, perhaps the Welsh bin men were on strike, still a beautiful location though and we would not hesitate to go back, but this time with our new Caravan.

We chose Conwy Touring Park as the site for our first family camping trip and were delighted with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazingly friendly and our arrival was dealt with quickly.

Toilet blocks and showers seemed plentiful and were always clean and in good working order.

The site although very large manages to feel really homely and un-intimidating as it's segregated into nice small fields separated by borders of trees. Conwy about a mile away. Llandudno about 6 miles. Nearest Tesco in Conwy. Loads to see and do in surrounding area. About half hour drive to Llanberis (base of Snowdon) with lovely lakeside walk. We can't wait to go back.

Just been for second time. First time was ok but no soap in toilets. This time we had cold showers, dirty loos and no policing of the site, people were partying until about 2am. Not a happy camper I'm afraid. Also complaints to management were ignored, how bad is that...............
