This review is rather old. Treat it with care.

New Farm is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site. The listing in the "Big Sites Book" shows that they only accept caravans, but they were happy enough with our folding camper, and I don't see why they would refuse any other types of kit.

This site provides a cheap resting place for the night, but with very few facilities. There is a wide field, which would provide enormous pitches for the maximum permitted 5 units. We had it all to ourselves. The ground is fairly level, but quite lumpy, and boggy in some parts after the heavy rain we had.

The site is attached to a small garden centre, and they are clearly trying to maximise their income from the land, as they also host grass track motorcycling, dog agility training, and possibly other things as well.

There is drinking water, one toilet+washbasin for each gender (shared with any other users of the fields) and a chemical disposal point. No electricity nor showers.
