A moderate sized site, with maybe 50 static caravans, separated from the pitches for 50 or more tourers. Most pitches have electric hookups, all are on level grass. Some (around the edges of the field) are shaded by trees, but those in the middle of the field were in the open. The site had an open, free feel to it, which we prefer to more regimented, enclosed pitches, though if you like privacy and your very own piece of space, you may not like it so much.
Showers and toilets were clean and well maintained. The showers were particularly impressive, giving full control over height, angle, pressure and temperature, with plenty of room, and they were free.
I think there was ONE dishwashing sink.

I have just returned home after spending 10 days on this site, and found it very pleasant. The site was very quiet and not too busy. For those with children, this site may not be for them, as there is no ball games and no cycling around the site, but nonetheless, it was very pleasant.

The site has now been completely renovated. Most pitches are hard standing and fully serviced, and the whole site is very clean and tidy, as are the toilet facilities. It is now an adults only site. The only thing that lets it down is there is no on-site shop, but shops are only a few miles away in Winsford. We have booked to stay again this year, as it is nice and quiet.
