Ideal for cyclists, surfers and beach bums - I went to the restaurant once and wasn't very impressed, but there are barbecues available and I think they do ready-made meals (didn't try any though). The area is beautiful and there is a lot to see. I suggest going to Biarritz or just over the border to Spain, it is a great spot for sightseeing.

We took our grand children to Le Boudigau last year, we hadn’t taken them on holiday outside the UK before so we were a bit worried, but the staff were really good with them which was a relief. We went to some wonderful restaurants and Biarritz is really worth a visit. Without a doubt, a great campsite whatever your age, we all had a fantastic time.

I love the beach, and trips on my bike, so I had a great time in Les Landes. Le Boudigau is a campsite that offers a load of little extras to make your holidays comfortable, and frankly, unforgettable.

Really superb since the change of owner: good entertainment, general cleanliness, very good maintenance, friendly welcome from the new team, you can see things have changed. Family atmosphere, security, helpfulness of staff, super!

I have stayed at the Boudigau three times. The first time was with my daughter, and we stayed 9 days in a chalet. We really liked our stay, and the camping pitch close to the beach. We went out with some other folks, and we appreciated the kindness of the campers. The toilet blocks are adequate, but from time to time the smell was a bit strong. However, if you are well organised, and if you can use a portable stove (we normally bring two, but buy fuel on arrival) this could be a problem if the site does not have the type you need, you can save some money by making your own meals in the evening inside the caravan. It's really agreeable.

It's a great campsite in the middle of a pine tree forest, the mobile homes are really clean and comfortable. My husband and I took our two kids, it was perfect for a family holiday, lots to do - horse riding, mini golf, tennis, surfing, loved it!

We hired a chalet for 6 people at the Boudigau, with a small garden and a very pleasant terrace for drinks after a day on the beach. The chalets are well equipped with WC, shower, fridge-freezer, and the prices are very reasonable. I have already booked for next year!

Peaceful, clean, warm welcome, hard to find anything negative to say. Maybe could do with a few more activities on site. Well done to the whole team!

I don't really have a lot to say about this campsite, I just want to show you my holiday snaps [However, he didn't send any – Webmaster]. Seeing the laughter between me, my wife and our children would make you understand straight away! Anyway, hats off to the Boudigau, thanks to them, we have had a great time.

The campsite is within reach of just about everything…Loved the heated pool even if the weather was good on the whole it's nice to have a swim in warm water. The showers and toilets were well kept and on a regular basis. The staff are helpful and friendly. I will go back for sure if I get the opportunity.

The staff team is very pleasant, especially the entertainment team. Our children adored their holiday last year, and my husband became expert at minigolf!

Pool area
The big chalet for 6 people, it was terrific
This is the view from the pool. We were there two days with it all to ourselves.
The little squirrel that we saw every morning from our chalet
The shallow pool (1m30)
This pool starts very shallow, and goes to 1m60. Super
And above all the sea, which is truly only 500m away.
