As in every campsite belonging to the Airotels de France chain, you will find in the campsite LE BOUDIGAU an ideal setting for your holidays with family, which will be stimulating, convivial or both at the same time.

The only criticism I can make is that the showers are at the entrance to the site [I assume this means that they are a long way from the pitches]

The site is however very good, and the people are great.

Very disappointed by the services offered by this so-called 4-star site.

Cleanliness of the camp roads left a lot to be desired. Loads of noise (farmyard close by with cock-crow at dawn).

Rubbish not picked up around the entrance..

Very disappointing campsite. No surveillance. Gates never shut, Cleanliness left something to be desired, especially at the weekend. Staff rather distant, and when there was a problem (like the theft of which I was victim) there was no support from the staff, and a lack of respect on their part.

Not up to scratch. Does not merit its 4 stars.

Being used to Airotel sites, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of this site, which claims 4 stars.

Very dirty WCs. One wonders whether the cleaners come by from time to time to clean and disinfect as they should.

It’s a real shame, as the campsite is peaceful, the pitches are shady and spacious, and the access to the beach is a positive point.

What’s also deplorable is that all of the activities within the campsite (except the aquagym) are at extra cost, never before seen at an Airotel.

Conclusion: it’s a shame, as if they don’t make some improvements, this Airotel will lose the reputation offered by the name.

Very disappointing visit.

I am a regular at this campsite.

Problem on arrival - I had reserved a refrigerator, but they claimed I had not, and there was none available, so I would have to wait. A few days later, a technician arrived, saying he had seen that I had reserved a fridge, and brought me one.

Second evening found the police in the campsite, handcuffing two thieves. Just about every evening, the police were at the entrance, where the disco is (fights etc).

And then there was a dispute over payment, as they claimed I had more left to pay than I actually had. They eventually accepted their mistake, but made no apology. And they refused to give any compensation for having forgotten the fridge.

Also, the children’s activity leader often had too many children. Normally, it’s 1 adult for 8 children, but not here. The showers are sometimes hot, sometimes cold. Toilets are cleaned only once a day.

It’s a shame, as the campsite is well shaded, with large pitches.

I’m going to write to the Airotel chain, as I find this unacceptable.

2 years ago I picked this campsite, well actually it was the only one available, and after my stay, I knew why. For a 4-star site, the showers and toilets are not at all up to scratch, more like the toilets of a rather old holiday camp. Youngsters are really not respected, their stay is as if in a prison, continually watched. For example, we 6 "annoyed" people all the time, and yet when we spoke to the neighbours, they said the hardly heard us.

The pool is a maximum of 1.6m deep, a bit limited for a 4-star site. The evening entertainment was pretty feeble, and finished at 11pm. The night club is stuck at the entrance of the site, and the police were there practically every night. Not to mention the youth of the district, who amused themselves by annoying the tourists, and then complained.

There you go; I have very bad memories; it’s a 4-star site that does not deserve it.

I also think that this site does not merit its 4 stars, because the cleanliness of the toilets is not good, the pool closes too early, there is a lack of lighting in the campsite roads, and the noise - don’t mention it. To return to the pool, it’s a shame one has to pay for the gym sessions. The police are there at the entrance every evening because of fights: there is no security.

Very disappointing stay, as the campsite is very noisy, there’s no entertainment and no security, as police had to intervene every evening! Staff had a frosty attitude, and not at all friendly. All the so-called activities are outside the campsite, and at extra price. How did Le Boudigau obtain its 4 stars, when it only merits half of them?

Excellent service, pleasant setting, clean campsite, warm welcome, sea on the doorstep! To be recommended!

No way does this campsite deserve its 4 stars. We hired a mobile home for €900 for the week. There was the absolute minimum of equipment inside, and very dirty inside and out. Extra price for the aquagym, after hiring mobile homes here for more than 10 years. I assure you it is not worth 4 stars. Very disappointing; we’ll not be back, and don’t recommend it at all.

Shame.

On the other hand, we love Landes, and we’ll be back, like every year.
