Super!!! I spent a week at this campsite, with friends, in a hired mobile home, and we were delighted with our stay (July 2006). The pool is spacious, heated and covered (which is essential in this region, where the climate sometimes takes time off!!!) We were glad to participate in the sporting activities offered by the competent and motivated leaders. Their good humour and their pleasure in working at this campsite was infectious during the evenings. We also appreciated the whole restaurant menu, available for eating in and for take-away - it’s really useful! The beach being only 2km away, bikes are ideal for getting there. In summary, a really good stay, which we recommend to all our friends - and we will certainly be back this year in August.

Super-friendly campsite. The setting is very pleasant, green and well delimited. The cottages are spacious, light and with a sun terrace! The pitches are well separated by hedges that maintain complete privacy, and this is really rare on campsites. The proximity of the beach is a bonus. The pool is always at a good temperature. In summary, nothing but praise, for our stay was really pleasant and restful. I will certainly be back at the beginning of August 2007.

Untruthful publicity: surroundings green and flowery - yes, the 3 plants of the bungalow! Tennis: two courts, and if you want to use them, you’ll have to reserve before you arrive. Fitness room: Equipment crammed in and chained up - unusable. I never saw anyone using them. Archery: you have to go to a mysterious place, that you have to ask about. Volleyball: Court shared with football, so volleyball only happens as organised tournaments, where there are nothing but children. Activities and kids club (July and August): a room of 30m² to do what you will. In the heart of the Bauloise life: To get to La Baule, a car is perfect ; a bike for the courageous, and on foot for galley slaves. Minutes from the beach: by car of course. 200m from shops: yes, a grocery and a bakers, and the post office. Apart from that, one toilet block is new, the other is horrible: very strong smell, dirty rusty cold showers. Expensive washer and dryer (just one of each). What’s more, you have to justify yourself at reception if you want to use just the drier. Pitch by the road - very noisy. Security pretty useless (except once when someone entered a young family’s tent to have a fight). So, a little 3-star that merits its 4 stars thanks to its superb pool. Disappointed in my first 4-star site, that I paid for with my girlfriend for our first holidays together. Well, perhaps in 5 years it might be not bad!

Hello, I’ve been going to this campsite with my children for the last three years. The children adore the activity leaders and their activities. As far as I’m concerned, I find everything I need for my holidays: shops 200m away (bakers, small supermarket, chemist, butcher, papers, restaurant with takeaway...) a restaurant and grocery on site, and takeaway. There is indeed one toilet block newer than the other, but both are well maintained, and each contains a washing machine and drier. The pool is brilliant, fitness room is good and easily accessible, and staff (activities, restaurant, reception, cleaners) very friendly, available and competent. So, I’ll be back this year.

Very very good campsite, and very well situated. We were really right in La Baule, and especially close to the shops, though you need a car for l’Avenue de Gaulle. The district of La Baule, the pines and the forest are really not far on foot. I stayed in August 2006 with my husband and my two small children, who loved it. The cottage was impeccable. The campsite is very clean, and the facilities worthy of the best 4-star. My two children did not leave the covered pool with its slide throughout the day, nor the multi-sport court in the evening. What’s more, they made lots of friends. I heartily recommend it!

I just stayed here at Easter. It was very pleasant, and the welcome very friendly. The toilet blocks are very clean and modern, and above all I welcomed the children’s playground for my two very young children. I recommend it. I plan to return very soon.

Have a look on Google Earth, and you will see that the campsite sits beside a major road with 2 lanes in each direction, with traffic day and night. Impossible to live there.

Noisy campsite, with a fast road passing close by, and an airfield just behind it! To be avoided at the start of the season, as the accommodation has been installed in haste and the pool does not open until 11am. They call it a 4-star, but one wonders why.

Having had a fabulous week in this campsite I would recommend it to anyone, it is ideal for families with children. The clubs are very well run for children aged 3 to 11 approx. Everyone was more than helpful and they all spoke great English. Location was great; 2 km from La Baule, you would need transport. There is a lovely medieval town, Guerande, 5 mins from the campsite and St. Nazaire is 10 to 15 mins by car. Great shopping in zone d'activities Savine. The salt marshes and natural park are only a few minutes by car also. The beach is wow the finest beach in France 9 km of white sandy beach, my husband and oldest child went on an 1 hour sailing course with instructor for 58 euros. So there is so much to do. This is the Cannes and Nice of the west. There is a lovely restaurant 15 mins away in Herbinac; Couchon. We were there in March and August. Getting back to campsite very quiet at night security present, clientele very respectable, I didn’t use toilets as we had a mobile but they were always cleaning them. Communal barbecue we didn’t use, but when I will return next August 2009 please God I would buy my own barbecue tray, as people didn’t appear to wash them. Near a road but requested a mobile away from road and got this. I will be definitely returning.
