All these pitches have 10 amp electricity if required, and there are 30 extra non-electric pitches for High Season

Our aim is to have extremely clean facilities, hence the 5 STAR grading which emphasises cleanliness.

Booking in on the telephone is very simple and straightforward, the reception friendly and the service excellent.

Whilst catering for families with children, this is not allowed to detract from the enjoyment of others, and speaking as a seasoned camper/caravanner, this is quite unique these days.

To sum up, a thoroughly nice place to stay, oh and don't forget a long lead for the hookups.

Visited Bay View campsite in 2003 and had a really lovely time: relaxed atmosphere, clean and warm toilet and shower facilities. Good on-site shop, and we liked the fish and chip van that visited. We are coming again this year (2005) for a long weekend.

I visited this site in 2003. It was very clean and adequate, however, as a camper rather than a caravanner I felt a bit cheated. We were in a separate field that was also used as a car park. We therefore had to keep a very close eye on the children. Moreover, the lovely toilet and shower block and undercover washing up area were on the other side in the caravan area. We had to make do with a mobile unit. The play area is lovely but again in the caravan area, so our children could only use it if we went with them while the caravanners could get on with their own thing and keep an eye on their children while they played in the park.

I agree with the review above (Sept 2003) although the site is now under new ownership and a proper toilet / shower / washing up block will apparently be built over the winter of 2005/2006.

Top spot right next to the beach.

Remember that people are always more prepared to write and complain than they are to praise good service.

We’ve just returned from this campsite. I found the man that owns it rude, arrogant. The pitches are tiny: we were about a metre away from the next person. The children weren’t allowed to play ball, fly kites or ride their bikes. There was a tiny park there, that was it! The shower block was cold after lunchtime: the owner’s response to this was you can’t expect it to be warm all the time!! All in all, I would never recommend this to anyone.
