This review is rather old. Treat it with care.

Quiet medium sized site with no toilet block. The site is for the most part grass which at the time of our visit needed cutting.

On arrival at around 3.30pm on a Friday we thought we had made a big mistake - there is an RAF airfield very near and lots of noisy Harriers were flying around. By 5.00pm all activity had stopped and peace prevailed for the rest of the weekend.

No toilets/showers/washing facilities - just a chemical waste point. No dishwashing facilities.

Normal Caravan Club reception and shed with lots of tourist information leaflets.

Extensive walks through Forestry Commission woodland. Most of the routes are well surfaced but part of the circular walk is over a grass track. Some of the wood looked fairly natural with the rest obviously managed for timber production.
