This is the worst camp-site we have ever stayed at. There was no hot water on the site unless you paid a token for a shower. Four toilets for 150 pitches - two of which had leaks and two of which had no lighting. The only fresh water we could find for pitches was from a rubber hose lying on the ground waiting to be plumbed in for a residential caravan.

I think this campsite is really good. Every Saturday evening there is different entertainment, and the village is very welcoming. They have an open-air pool.

The people who started this campsite have done it all by themselves. There is a good relationship with all of their campers.

This site is much better that Fiona Breslin makes out. What’s more, she forgets to mention that it is the cheapest in the area, so you have to know what you want!

There are others in the area, where the prices reach up to three times this site’s, ok? And in those sites, no one has a good time unless they’ve got a big wallet.

A pool, you say ?? yeeeees, but still being worked on, and at extra cost via shower tokens (about 10fr) a bit expensive for what it is! What’s more, it’s not heated! The plastic chairs are not very clean (they could clean them, given the entry fee!) And I’ll not mention the paddling pools ... two sort of tubs filled with water (not at all clean, they could change it more often, given that they have babies in.

I don’t really feel that this is up to standard...

Lea, I do not agree with your impression. If there’s no pool shown in the brochure, it’s not obligatory to provide one! And at these prices, I would also suggest that it is not obligatory! This campsite is certainly not a hotel, but the campers who come here will expect that it won’t be a palace. If you didn’t like the little pools for the kids, you had only to ask, and the water would have been changed!

This campsite is really good, and what's more, it's the cheapest in the village!

There is great evening entertainment every weekend!

I think some of these reviews are exaggerated, especially the one from Mlle Dupont, who has undoubtedly forgotten to mention that their contract was not renewed for reasons that she knows well, and so jealousy has made her respond with unkind words.

Furthermore, as for what Fiona says, there are in fact 14 WCs, 10 showers, 6 washbasins and 8 sinks on this site, and the water from every tap is drinkable. It should be noted that 75% of the site is occupied by mobile homes, which have their own WC and bathroom, so for the remaining 38 pitches, that’s one WC for every 4, and one shower for every 5, which remains a good average, even if you come on 15 August as you did.

This site is not a palace, but nor is it a dump.

pRvR is right, there are some pretty girls, and above all a great atmosphere!!! Those who complain, those who are not happy, too bad for them, but all the youth gather down there, and it’s very enjoyable!!

This is the best campsite. Lots of activities, competitions in cards, boules, and good evenings.

This is a well-priced campsite. There are lots of activities, day and evening. 11 years we’ve been going. There’s a soirée every Saturday evening. The owner organises competitions in cards, boules, skittles, ... There are visiting magicians and impressionists.

You mustn’t listen to what some people say. Go there and you’ll see what I mean.

This campsite is very pleasant; there are lots of things to do (boules competition, card games, bingo ...). Prices are very reasonable compared with other campsites.

A bar and restaurant are onsite, and the staff are pleasant.

In any case, you shouldn’t judge without going there.

What’s more, most people were satisfied; it’s for that reason that I’ve been going for some time.

PS: what’s more, there are some pretty girls.

Hi everybody, I really agree with what jdd says above, it’s true there are a lot of activities, there’s a very good feeling amongst the campers, and the prices are reasonable. The campsite is very welcoming with all the trees, the surroundings and the pitches are well maintained. I myself have been camping here for several generations, so I know what I’m talking about. It’s also worth saying that there’s a gathering every Saturday evening, and it’s very pleasant.

This campsite is pleasant and friendly.

The owners are building up the site bit by bit, and I find each year that the site has changed for the better. It has two stars, which is about right.

You can’t have a good price and at the same time all the facilities.

I think that what’s important is the warmth that exists on this site, and not the material side.

Personally, I find that this campsite is very good, the owners are really cool, and my children were happy with the games. Close to the sea (10 minutes). We’ve been going for 2 years, and will go back this year. The prices are really reasonable, and a very good atmosphere.

We visited this campsite yesterday.

It is not open, and is undergoing work to bring it up to standard.

When you arrive for the first time, it’s a surprise if you’re not accustomed to major works (recabling the site...), but when you speak to the manager, everything changes, you feel a friendliness that is not feigned, quite the opposite.

The pool is closed, and perhaps will be open in 2 or 3 years, after being refurbished and brought up to standard.

The questions we posed had a response each time, and we were able to visit the campsite quite freely.

We have not yet decided about the purchase of a mobile home, but the atmosphere suited us well.

Hello, we do not agree with some of the reviews, as this campsite is calm, peaceful, and amusing for the children, as there is a large inflatable, terrain de boule, table tennis, disco every Saturday, and some of them are specially themed.

There are also tournaments for boules, skittles, cards, as well as activities.

Travelling merchants come to the site selling clothes, gems, games, and crafts.

The owner’s daughter organises a lotto with good prizes.

p.s. if people are not happy with a swimming pool that is not open, they can go to the sea, or to the pool at Berck.

And don’t listen to the others, see for yourselves.

Camping des 4 Plages is always just as good every year. We’ve been going there 13 years now.

They’ve got activities.

The bingo run by Alice is always amusing.

Despite all the silly things I did when I was young, the campsite has always made me happy.

The campers there are friendly.

Go there and you’ll see that you can have fun like anything at the 4 Plages.

Super campsite. Peace is assured. I’ve been there two years with my wife, and we will return without doubt. The mobile homes are super and new. We hire lp7 for a very reasonable sum. Nanard is super, and not at all annoying. Go there, it’s worth the detour.

PS you go to the sea for the SEA, and not for a pool, otherwise you’d stay at home.
