It's a lovely, safe, peaceful campsite in a grassy field surrounded by mature woodland. This means that there is a choice of pitches in the sun or some well-shaded spots around the edge of the field. Some electric hook-ups are available. Some of the pitches are sloping and chocks will be needed, but there are plenty of pitches suitable for tents. The small children's play area will hopefully keep the kids amused. It is set in a quiet, peaceful countryside location, but there is a "family friendly" pub which serves food all day about 5 mins walk away. Oldbury Hill is a great place to stay for National Trust members, as there are many NT properties within a short drive. There is also a very well stocked camping shop about 10 minutes drive away (KGLC Camping at Smarts Garden Centre, Main Road, Sundridge, nr Sevenoaks) The place is run by very helpful and friendly site managers, who incidentally are currently the youngest site managers working for C&CC. They look after the facilities very well, and provide a nice welcome on arrival. If all C&CC clubs sites are as good as this, then I made the right decision to join…

My family and I live two miles away in Kemsing, and we like to go there in summer for a few nights! It’s a lovely setting, quiet, secluded and well kept, nearby Oldbury Hill fort is wonderful to walk around, and the whole area is beautiful.

Remember that people are always more prepared to write and complain than they are to praise good service.

Stayed at this site for one night. Beautiful site and surrounding area shame about the two wardens managing the site who we found to be most unhelpful and with an attitude problem. It has put me off returning to this lovely site.

Beautiful campsite in lovely surroundings. Showers and toilets and kept very clean. Only downside is the couple who are now running the site. Real attitude problem and not at all welcoming. I will not be returning again after having spent the last four years going. A real shame.

Lovely and friendly. We were also given 10% off the local pub food, which was also excellent! There is an old fort to walk to and lots of woodlands to walk through and also horse riding locally.
