I have been twice a year for the past 2 years, and come in a big group. We do not disturb other people as we are on a separate field. It is a great site, with good facilities. We tend to find that instead of complaining about us, lots of people from the main site come and sit with us in the evenings and enjoy the music etc. We've never had any complaints!!

If someone can find a better site in England then tell me because I have been looking for 24 years. It may get a bit loud and noisy sometimes its called enjoying yourself! If you do not expect noise, don't go camping. The setting is fantastic when you go camping with children you babysit them don't expect people to babysit you, you're in a tent and you expect to hear no noise from other revellers get a life book a hotel somewhere and leave us campers alone Burnbake is Burnbake if you don't like it don't go back: one less for the shower!

Just returned home from a weekend at Burnbake! What a magical/mystical gem! We had a great time even though it rained both nights and our tent leaked! Our two children also loved it - Lily aged 4.5 and Phoebe 20mths! The shop is well stocked with the basics and even fun toys for the children! The showers were okay, just wish you could have more than just 5mins. The washing up facilities were also okay. The children's playground was fantastic with a constant hum of happy children! My only negative point was on our last night - we had a group of only 3 campers pitch near us and one was very loud. Thank goodness my children were asleep as the language was appalling. I appreciate that there will be some noise whilst camping, but is it too much to ask for some respect?! The nearby South Beach in the Knowle area was beautiful and we also took along our dog!

Just returned from a very wet trip! We had a fab time at Burnbake, friendly welcoming atmosphere which is lacking at so many sites. They had a small problem with water pressure one morning turning my shower into a dribble! but I was quickly issued with free extra shower cards to make up for this. Facilities were spotlessly clean and considering the weather this was a miracle!

My kids had an amazing time in the woodland play area, tyre swing and loved the 'penny sweets' in the shop, they were surprised at how many sweets 20p can buy!

The Yurt had a cool hippy vibe, my youngest took part in the 'art class' in the morning while I sampled the delicious Burnbake breakfast, we bought pizzas one eve which were also delicious. The only thing that spoiled our trip slightly was the weather. I would have happily stayed all summer!

Facilities all good, especially the baby bath/shower. The outside showers are a good idea. I've been camping for years and this isn't the best campsite. There were too many older children and teenagers running around shouting late at night, maybe they aren't normally allowed out and went a bit crazy. The worst bit is the disorganised staff who said we could stay for the bank holiday w/e even though we didn't have a special ticket, then said we couldn't so we packed up after 3 nights and then they changed their minds again! a proper booking system is what they need. Luckily we found a beautiful campsite nearby which I'm keeping a secret!

p.s why do you need flowers on your camping table when in the great outdoors? not proper camping in my view.
