Remember we went to Holywell Bay in height of the season. As you think "oh we’re here", no you are not, as before you arrive at Holywell Bay holiday park a Holywell Bay fun park is on the right hand side. No, don’t want that, you want the left turn further down hill. Well kept grounds, nice to see the manager pick some litter up, modern statics, camping area a little cramped as in most cases you have two pitches one in front of the other. Could cause a spot of bother with some. Showers were bad one night, but reported and attended to before next night, so tell them if any thing wrong. Entertainment was kiddie orientated but still good, some visiting people 3 times a week or so, beer prices pub prices. A singer, a kiddie puppet show (very good) and another singer all in all adequate. Local places to go: walk to the beach at Holywell Bay through the camp follow the stream past the nice pub good Sunday dinner. Newquay, Crantock, American theme park, Cornish birds of prey, and many many more. If you want to be able to walk to the beach on holiday ideal, but it is a fair way if carrying boards, kids etc etc. To sum it up, only problem bit cramped at height of season but where isn’t.
