Fantastic place! Midge free, due to constant breeze. Superb beach location with views on a clear day to Ailsa Craig and Pladda. Very chilled place to spend a week, watching tide go in and out and back in again. Kids loved it messing safely on beach while we kept half an eye on them from tent. Plenty to do on the island, though in constantly wet weather you might struggle after a week.
Toilet block just about adequate and kept clean. Site owners friendly.
Hotel next door for drinks and free internet if you just can't break the surfin' habit!
