We have used this site for 6 years now and have never found it snobby. The facilities, food and entertainment are excellent and the views from the lakeside are breathtaking. If you would prefer to spend your holidays with the travelling community be my guest, I know where I prefer.

Remember that people are always more prepared to write and complain than they are to praise good service.

We stayed here for a week and it was so snobby!.. Never again!

This has got to be one of the top sites in the Country, each pitch is privately fenced off with its own: grass area, hard standing for van and awning/patio area, Tap, waste water, electric hook up and light, tv hook up, elsan point and car parking space at the front of pitch. The toilet/shower blocks are very clean and heated and the bar/restaurant on site is very nice.

The proximity to the buzzing town of Bowness is perfect, only a few hundred yards from entrance to the site, yet on site it is peaceful and spacious with lovely walks around the acres of woodland and lake shore.

A perfect sheltered site in a fantastic location and I rate it 9/10.
