The campsite is by the side of the River Vienne on the edge of the village of Bonnes which is 7 km north of the town of Chauvigny.
There are some pictures of the site here: A very friendly site. There is a swimming pool next to it. The excellent restaurant -Café des Sports - is in the village and is the cheapest one I have ever found in France; '2 entrées, main course, cheese, simple dessert, and a litre bottle of wine and all for just over £5.00. Its not haute cuisine, but at that price who cares.Places to visit are Poitiers, Futuroscope (a must), the hypermarket next to the theme park and the medieval church at La Roche-Posay with its restored frescoes.
The only downside to the site is that there are often 'travellers' in situ but they cause absolutely no problems whatsoever.
