Original review from July 2004: This is a very French site with few British visitors - gets very busy in August - best to visit in late June, early July. Excellent swimming pools and shady pitches. Best for smaller caravans, trailer tents and tents as the site is terraced. The management will site your caravan or trailer for you with a tractor. Family owned and run, this is a good choice of site for visiting coastal Provence - plenty hill villages nearby. Good water sports on the variety of local beaches. The site has good clean facilities and offers entertainment in season. Fabulous golf course and driving range opposite (Le Frégate) and plenty of Bandol vineyards to visit. If you have never tried a real French campsite - give this one a try - boules essential!
Updated August 2006: Just back from a recent visit (Jul/Aug 06). Changes are more Dutch visitors and slight changes to shop and bar/restaurant. Still an excellent place to visit - see more at http://www.provence-campings.com/provencale/ste-therese/
