It’s a lovely site, well deserving of it’s name, because unless you know it’s there, you wouldn’t know it’s there, if you know what I mean? We had pitch number 2, which we were pleased about, because although pitches 1-5 were quite spacious, the other 7 weren’t quite so. Whilst it was very nice, and very clean, the shower and toilet block could have been a little bigger, with extra facilities. Even though there are only 12 pitches, there were quite a few people in some of the units, and the ladies consisted of 2 toilet cubicles, 2 basins, and 1 shower, and the gents only had 1 cubicle and 1 shower. We thought that one more of each would have been ideal, to cut out some of the queuing. Those little niggles aside, it’s a lovely, peaceful little site, surrounded by lovely scenery, and some interesting places. Also, the guest-house that it belongs to do take-away meals, and breakfast can be taken at the house if booked the day before, and they are really nice people!
