Great site as long as you get a pitch over looking the sea. The other ones are a little shaded. Beaches are very accessible and the nearest one is very quiet. A little longer walk around 1km finds a great sandy beach with plenty of opportunities for building dams and sandcastles. Also showers available as well.

Préfailles is a small seaside resort, situated on the Jade coast, with its rocky coastline and its coves in the heart of which hide charming beaches. A paradise for sea anglers, you will also find oysters, mussels, and other shellfish. Eléovic overlooks the sea, and dominates the bay of Bourgneuf, with the island of Noirmoutier on the horizon. You will find at Eléovic: Covered pool with a small spa area, fitness room, bar-restaurant, playground four the younger ones, multi-sport court, volleyball and basketball, table tennis. Various activities are offered during summer, with guided walks to discover the region. A family campsite, clean and peaceful, where children can roam in safety.

Well this is a campsite with very few teenagers! That’s good for the grandfather that I am, my grandchildren were able to have fun in the pool without being jostled by the bigger ones. A campsite that’s very clean, very welcoming, and for the cherry on the top, a splendid view of the ocean. Well done, and thanks to the whole team for these holidays. I’ll be back.

Fabulous site. Lovely indoor pool. Stunning Views, beaches & 1km cliff path walk to Prefailles with amenities. 10 mins drive from the lovely town of Pornic. Site not too large and if you avoid July & August hardly any children if you want peace and quiet. Facilities for children & youngsters in high season excellent. 9 out of 10 rating

Nice site, clean well run. Lovely pool. Great showers and changing areas. No shop but bread supplied to the bar for sale in the morning. Lovely view over the sea. Swim shorts not allowed into the pool. The reason being that the site is close to the sea and it is assumed that you will have been to the beach. Swim shorts are assumed to hold more bacteria than other types of trunks. Having swum at the beach in Préfailles, I can assure you that there is plenty in the water to be concerned about. Wading through the water there was an awful amount of silt being thrown up and I could not see my feet even in the shallows. There were also lots of oysters growing on the rocks and a smell in the air.... If you go to this site, stick to the pool - it's lovely. But take some proper trunks.
