The Invercoe Camp site has what you would expect from a decent campsite, i.e. flat, well-drained site, good washing facilities, and each pitch is allocated a generous amount of space. I think showers are included in the price, there is a launderette on site, and a covered eating area with benches.
The campsite is situated on the loch at the head of Glencoe, so the views are pretty special. It is also right next to Glencoe forest (watch out for midges), so you can go for some interesting walks without needing the car. There is a small Spar in the village, and a larger Co-op down the road to Ballachulish.
If you prefer good facilities, and/or you have a family, this is a better campsite than the Red Squirrel. If you want 'wild' camping in a stunning setting with fewer families, the more expensive Red Squirrel is perhaps for you.

This review is rather old. Treat it with care.

Great wee site. We made good use of the undercover eating area as the camping weekend turned out very cold and wet and this facility made our stay more enjoyable. We now have a caravan and hope to go back to this area some time in the future. We did a lovely walk through the Hidden Valley.

We have just returned (06/08/08) from an amazing 10 days in the Invercoe camp site in the heart of Glencoe, this has got to be one of the best sites around, it's kept lovely and clean and the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome, they are always around to help or just have a natter and with the added bonus of seeing Iain in his kilt sometimes.
It's a well-drained site so the rainwater doesn't make the pitches all muddy, we have a tent and didn't get any water or mud inside at all.
There is a children's play area, and an under cover area to meet eat and have BBQ's. Hot water in the showers and an inside washing up area. Also there are some midge machines to help keep the little devils away.
There are some lovely walks around with the most fantastic views you could ever wish for, so don't forget your camera, but you don't need to leave the site to see some as all you need to do is walk to the Loch end and you are face to face with the most breath taking scenery imaginable.
There is also a little health centre in nearby Ballachulish, and a co-op and an Internet cafe as well.
The only problem we have with this site is that its over 550 miles away and we won't be able to go back for a while.
This site has got to be your first choice for this area.
FANTASTIC.

Well-placed campsite, well equipped, and always well kept, with a lovely view of the loch and the mountains.
Showers were the hottest we encountered in a month of touring. The ladies toilets had just been repainted.
Lovely covered area with tables for eating and sheltering (from the rain, bit not the cold…)
The small playground, however, is rather dilapidated.
The owners are welcoming and accessible.
Small shop for the real essentials, but which only opens from May.
Internet access on site (cost extra), letterbox, phone box.
Only downside: rather too many permanent caravans.
Village, with shop and petrol, close by.
Excellent location for touring around the region. Fort William is not far in the car.
