I have to agree about the toilets, they are a portacabin although the toilet and shower block on the Warren was slightly better. The pitches are massive (we have a nine man huge tent and not many places will accept tents that big). It was just a five minute walk to the entertainment block and the teamsters were brilliant. The onsite shop was a mini supermarket, well stocked and quite reasonably priced. Fish and chip shop was pricey but no worse than any of the other fish and chip shops in this area. Security was good, with silly teenage boys being escorted off the dance floor straight away. 'The Court of King Caractacus' will get in your head! We are still practicing the dance moves now.

Remember that people are always more prepared to write and complain than they are to praise good service.

We stayed at this horrible site for 5 nights. We paid £23 per night for a pitch in a field with portaloos as toilet facilities. They were tiny, dirty, had chewing gum stuck to walls and graffiti everywhere. There was no toilet roll or soap on offer for the whole time we were there. You also had to shower in here but no shower curtain to hide you from the bog. The pool floor was filthy and it had broken floor tiles. Reception staff were of no help at all and the General Manager seems to hide away from complaints. I'm not surprised he must get loads! Not a site I'd recommend or return to..ever!!!

This site has lots of good features, but a few bad ones too. As mentioned in a previous review, the site is huge and there is plenty of room to camp. Hook-ups are available but get booked up quickly. We booked the site in desperation as last resort for Whitsuntide half-term week and it was not too busy. The site is an island in a seemingly endless sea of caravans just off the coastal strip. There is lots of entertainment for youngsters on-site and the club entertainers work very hard to please everyone young and old. The portaloos mentioned in previous reports are still there but were kept spotlessly clean.

The negative bits were mainly a result of our experience whilst at the site. A car load of campers drove into the field one day, two of the occupants jumped out and started urinating into the hedge in full view of the entire site, our children included. One of our near neighbours was compelled to open both doors on his white van and impose his choice of rock music on the whole field. Most alarmingly, I woke one night at 4 am to the sound of voices around our tent. A group of youths was outside, one sitting in one of our chairs. I was silently debating the wisdom of challenging the group when the security patrol arrived and pursued them off site (they were not campers). Our experiences might not be representative of the site outside peak periods but I would be reluctant to return. Outside of the school holidays might be a better time to visit.
