This is an excellent caravan and campsite, which we have visited two years running and it has been awarded 5 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, which I think is well deserved. It sits in the grounds of Blair Castle, which extend to 32 acres and you can spend your days/evenings exploring the grounds. The castle itself is a lovely sight and is very popular with tourists. The site facilities are plentiful, excellent and very clean. It has grass and hard-standing mains served pitches, which are easily accessible. There is a very large recreation area to play your own games and also two small playparks for different ages, putting green and miniature football pitch. If you feel inclined you can surf the net located in the reception area where the staff are very friendly. There is a shop with limited provisions on site and other small shops in the local area within walking distance. There is a popular eating place across the road from the park called Kirsty's Pizza in the Park and the food they serve is very good and reasonably priced and it also does take-aways which can be ordered in advance as it can become quite busy in high season. If you want to stock-up you can find a Co-Op in Pitlochry, which is approx 7 miles away and the village itself if well worth a visit. If you venture off the busy main street you will find a lovely walk leading to many other things to see and do. This is a very good area in which to base yourself as there are lots of lovely villages to visit and plenty to do in the surrounding area. It is advisable to book as it is very popular with campers and caravanners alike.

This is a fantastic site and huge too. It is located near the grounds of Blair Atholl Castle and situated adjacent to vast forests which you can have some excellent walks. All of the facilities are clean and the staff are extremely helpful nothing is too much trouble. Because the site is so big it is not cramped and there are many wide open spaces for children to play ball games away from the caravans. The dog walk is great, and it is only a short walk into the village which has a few shops and tea rooms. There are a couple of great pubs and restaurants too. House of Bruar is a couple of miles up the road and the supermarket is in Pitlochry. We go every year and have never had any problems. The pitches are well drained and do not get water logged. The best thing is there are no midges here unlike Pitlochry down the road.
