The campsite Goyetchéa at St Pée is very pleasant, and ideally situated in the heart of the Basque country. 8km from the nearest beaches, and 15km from Biarritz and St Jean de Luz, and right by the foothills of the Pyrenées. Magnificent view over the Rhune and the Basque countryside. At only 800m from a supermarket, it’s easy to do the shopping at minimum cost. Clean and functional toilet blocks, pool of a slightly old design, but pleasant, with a paddling pool, and a main pool with varying depths. The only problem was the footbath, which was not always too clean. Normal activities and guided walks are on offer, children’s games on the sand, and a small library with games, just in case... Snack bar, refreshments, and delivery of bread by Niko. We appreciated that the shower blocks closed at 10:30 pm, which avoids the noise of doors banging in the middle of the night (though the toilets stay open, of course). In summary, Pascale and Kiki do their best to ensure your stay goes well.

This camping is brill. I’ve been going for years. The atmosphere is always perfect, magnificent walks, along with lots of good humour, and tournaments of football, volleyball and others. The campsite is very clean and very well maintained, no noise and very peaceful.

This campsite is situated in a magnificent setting, at the foot of the Pyrenees, and only 20 minutes drive from St Jean de Luz, and only a little more from Biarritz and Bayonne. It’s a very well equipped campsite, especially with regard to toilet facilities, which are clean and modern. If you have young children, ask for a pitch near to the higher toilet block, as it is equipped with a children’s shower, small toilets, baby bath and changing table. 2 pools are available, one especially for children under 8. Our little boy really liked it. There are also sun beds freely available. There are also other facilities, such as TV room, table tennis, restaurant, ice creams, children’s games, etc.
