Fantastic site, over looking the sea. There are separate areas for caravans and tents. The site is a bit hilly, so finding a flat site for a tent is a problem. Also it is a long walk from the far end of the site to the showers/toilet block. However, these are large, clean and the showers are free and hot. Good washing up facilities, but there can be a queue at times. There is a well-stocked shop and children's play area. Steep walk down cliff path to rocky beach. The site is VERY popular, but we have not found noise to be a problem. The big problem is that they do not take bookings! When the site is full, they turn people away, which is awful after hours in the car getting there. I would suggest a very early arrival on holiday weekends, or try arriving on a weekday.
Once there, the beautiful scenery will take your breath away. It is definitely worth a visit. This is a lovely, clean, well-managed site.

This is one of our favourite campsites in Devon and Cornwall - love the fact that you can decide where to pitch, although this is a big decision in itself as level pitches are hard to find but views far make up for it. Agree that it does get very popular and we have been turned away in the past so best to try and arrive during the day on a Friday rather than early evening as we haven't found a great local alternative.
If you pitch at the far end there is quite a bit of a walk to toilet and shower block which can be a bit of a pain in bad weather or in the night but wasn't a big problem. Shop seemed well stocked and exchange ice packs. Nearby shop, good pubs and restaurants in village. The walk down to the beach from the campsite is hilly and you do really need to wait for low tide as the beach is quite small but good for kids to investigate rock pools, build sandcastles and play football etc
