Stayed at Bardsea bank holiday weekend, on arrival found only small field on which to pitch tent. Although field was clean and tidy was very surprised to find that only 3 foot wall separated the pitched areas from very busy main road. Traffic noise started as early as 6 am (cars /wagons etc)excellent play area in same field as tents nothing to stop local teenage children from near by estate coming on to the site using facilities of which they did every night, staying sometime till 11 pm. Although there is a warden on site we never saw one for the full 4 day stay. Good points excellent shower facilities. Pot washing facilities only one, 10 min walk from field and this was in middle of caravans. Overall view well presented and very clean and tidy, but mainly geared up for caravans.

We have just come back from Bardsea with our caravan. We have been a few times, living quite near: it is a very nice clean site. The showers and the toilets are very clean also the staff are very helpful. Also there is a van that makes some nice food: it is open on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. Will be going back soon
