A superb site in a great location. The owners, Drew and Karen, genuinely care that you are happy and having a good time. The facilities are probably the best we have ever used, with toilets and showers cleaned at least three times a day. The hot water is plentiful and a twenty pence shower seems to last forever. The tent pitches are well spaced and level, with plenty of space for the kids to run around. There are great beaches for kids at Llanbedrog and Abersoch, and the mountains are a half hour drive away.

Eisteddfa is a lovely campsite, clean with good facilities. It is a very family orientated site, so if you have kids, you can feel safe to let them have a little bit of old fashioned freedom round the site - it has a small wooded area which our kids love to go and play in and a tree platform as well as the small playground and pool (balls and cue type not swimming) hut. The pitches are large and well spaced, or you can go in the two fields and pitch where you like. Eisteddfa is well placed for touring Snowdonia and the Llyn penninsula, and there are good restaurants and cafes in Criccieth and Portmadoc. We have been for five years on the trot now and still love it!
