An excellent site, good size pitches, with hedged borders, mixed tents and vans, exceptionally clean and tidy shower rooms, drying rooms and super bathrooms. We arrived for a weeks stay and met up with friends, we had pitches next to each to each other (which we had requested). There is a large shop, restaurant, great kids area with crazy golf, and two pools. (They also do self-catering apartments). Despite the rain (lots of it) we had a great time and managed to see attractions in the area like Europa Park, well worth a visit and even drove to Switzerland for the day. The local town of Staufen had a wine festival that week and we all enjoyed the lively stalls and music, very child friendly. We were surprised to see a factory outlet style shop and a railway line/level crossing/station right on the edge of the campsite but it was very small and the trains did not bother us at all. We would recommend this site as a base to explore this beautiful region in the summer or in the winter! Just a note, most of the shops and restaurants were German speaking only.!
