Remember that people are always more prepared to write and complain than they are to praise good service.

Shameful, scandalous! Untruthful publicity on the web!
When we left, we cleaned everything thoroughly, and left the mobile home in a much better state than when we arrived, and this cleaning lady (Rumanian) who came to check told me that the fridge and the coffee maker were dirty!
Owners are unfriendly, and there is no entertainment for youngsters! Noisy site (two main roads and a railway within earshot). You’ll need to take the car to go to the beach! In summary, a site to avoid!

Never again! A two hour wait in midday heat to get the keys, rudimentary pitch without parasol or other shade, no privacy between pitches, rudimentary pool, dangerous trip to the beach on foot! Infernal noise from cars on the roads, you can't leave the campsite after 11pm, and for the price, they could have provided aircon and TV, and above all, been pleasant, for they certainly were not.

The photos on their website are misleading!
First of all, the pool is small, and above all the paddling pool is dangerous, as every day children were cutting their feet! As for the water in the pool, it had very little chlorine, and the water in the paddling pool was murky.
The playground for the children is right at the bottom of the site.
There is only one toilet block for the whole site, which is closed from 1-3pm!
No entertainment, and the restaurant, if you can call it that, apparently only just opened, and it is expensive, not very welcoming, and rather dirty.
This does not warrant 3 stars.
Oh yes, and I forgot to mention that the site is located between the motorway and a railway line! Goes without saying that you're best off in the middle of the site, to avoid disturbance.
We won't be coming back here, that's for sure!

Very chilly reception; very unpleasant manageress; no communication is possible with this woman. The campsite is far from clean; pool is a scandal; prices are too high for this site; no entertainment; very dangerous access to the beach.

I think it would be appropriate to be a little less critical. The new owners have only been in place since the beginning of Spring 2011.
I find that they have already done a lot for this campsite, and this is going to continue, as these young folk have further plans, notably for the pool.
I love this campsite for its friendly character, and it's location on the edge of Argelès, giving me the chance to escape the bottlenecks of the main beach.
The only downside of any significance is the 4-lane highway that passes close by; the constant noise is truly intolerable. The local authority should have acted long ago to install some effective measures against the noise.
I've had a mobile home here for nearly 20 years, and I intend to continue to enjoy the benefit of it.
