Independent Campsite Reviews

My wife and I were very shocked by this campsite. First of all, we were placed in front of open drains; every morning we awoke to a nauseating smell. Furthermore, the route to our pitch was not lit; there was no water point close by – we had to go to the toilet block 100 metres from our pitch. When we complained to the management, they laughed in our faces. A little later in the day, the manager of the campsite came to disturb us in the middle of our meal, telling us to leave immediately, with a refund cheque in his hand, telling us that he had gone to the police to lodge a complaint against us because we had complained (staggering, isn’t it?). Everyone we spoke to on the campsite said they would not be returning. I’ll keep the rest to myself, but I have photos that support what I say. For the time being, I’ll keep them safe.
