The website for this campsite is very promising - it promises "Comfortable conditions for a successful stay". We were well and truly had. We were really disappointed by this campsite, even though we’re not difficult to please. Despite making a reservation 6 months in advance, and a rather high booking fee (€25), we were placed beside a road that was very noisy in the early morning, being used by numerous fishermen, and right beside a telephone box, with a broken window, that was in use until 2am. Being under canvas, we could clearly hear people’s conversations. We hardly slept. It was quiet between 2 and 5am. This campsite is very expensive for what it offers. What’s more, there is no atmosphere, people don’t smile, don’t say hello. And to crown it all, the beach that they promise is just a small beach of mud; impossible to bathe. You have to travel 10 minutes in the car to find a proper beach. We politely asked for a refund (just the booking fee) in view of the fact that we had slept so badly. The owner agreed, but the next day, he ordered us to leave, threatening to call the police if we were still there at noon! He was vile. Once only, never again.
