We visited this campsite last year (Aug 2010). The campsite is clean and tidy and the staff very helpful and as my French is awful a relief that they spoke decent English. The pitch was huge, big enough for our 8 berth tent, car and loads of room to spare, it was also surrounded by hedges so lots of privacy. You will need a European adapter for your electricity connection (ours was under £10 from ebay) Pool is cool but trick is to jump in! Pool area immaculate so can't complain. We have stayed in approx 5 different camp sites in France and this is the same standard as the others and none have loo seats so don't panic when you use the toilets this is normal. If you camp in France don't expect the Hilton hotel standards, sites are basic. This site is well located for attractions: Beach is no more than an estuary, lovely for a walk or horse riding not swimming. Go to the town of Rue about a mile away to the local supermarket its reasonable and cheaper than Leclerc supermarket. A lovely site and if we were to visit Picardy again we would definitely return.

Remember that people are always more prepared to write and complain than they are to praise good service.

We came back for the second time to this campsite (the first time being 3 years ago) but unfortunately the welcome was not as it had been before! The managers had no smile on their lips, and we grumbled about them with other campers, calling them the bulldogs, as every time they passed in their little car, they had such a face on that you’d get the feeling they were going to bite you! Another very important thing to note, and unacceptable, is that as soon as you go off site, they take pleasure in going up to the door of your mobile home to look inside! The proof is that we were absent for about an hour, taking our son to the doctor, and had left our little 11-year-old dog inside, and I swear, with the support of our neighbours, that this is an old dog that hardly moves and does not bark! I think they had seen us leave, and had taken advantage to check inside the van, so as to be able to berate us for leaving the dog, which is forbidden, though dogs are allowed (for ¤20 extra). Our neighbours, left and right, confirmed that the manageress had indeed stuck her nose to the door to look inside. It gives you a shiver up the spine to think you’ve paid ¤1200 for a fortnight, and as soon as you turn your back… And all the while, the great big dog belonging to the owners wanders at liberty throughout the site all day, doing is business wherever he likes!
That was the second time, and the last. Not recommended.

Lovely site, well tended and very clean, we stopped in a mobile home that was well equipped and quite new. The plot was nicely separated by hedges and gave us space for the boys to play and they had taken some expense in planting flowers near each plot. The people were very helpful and walked us to our plot even though it was raining. We arrived on the Sunday and the place was peaceful and the small shop open for basic provisions. Bread and croissants could be booked each day and picked up the following morning. The site was mainly French with a few Dutch and German cars around and a sprinkling of Brits. The outdoor pool was clean and even though heated was pretty cool, having said that it was only May and we did venture in a couple of times. There was a separated shallow ideal for toddlers. The van had gas rings and small gas oven and a half height dishwasher was a bonus. Plenty of cooking implements but take your own kettle. They provided duvets and pillows we took sheets and towels. There was a small climbing frame and a big field for football.
All in all we were very pleased with the site and would definitely go again. It was situated close to Le Crotoy which has some long sandy beaches and very good climbing frames and a couple of supermarkets (which close bang on 12 noon!)and great for exploring the region.
