Remember that people are always more prepared to write and complain than they are to praise good service.

We visited this site in July and the weather was very much wet. It didn't help that the site grass was very long although no animals were kept in the field. You couldn't visit the toilet without getting soaked. There are no gravel paths around the site. The only toilet in the field was a chemical one and you have to walk to the main house thorough the long grass to visit the other toilet and single shower in what is a very basic outhouse. There are no hand washing facilities after visiting the toilet - is this legal? The proprietors can provide a cooked breakfast in the morning but couldn't for us as the B&B was full. They provided some bacon sandwiches for £2 in the morning instead but the promised tea and coffee didn't materialise. I would not recommend the bacon sandwiches unless you like poor bacon and mouldy bread, yes really! The cost was £5 per person, per night. This campsite was well below par due to the poor facilities. Not recommended.
