Our family of 6 stayed here in a Canvas Life mobile, our first visit to a Yelloh! site. Liked the area very much, beautiful villages and houses, and lots of history with the D-Day landing beaches. Pool and slides good although water rather chilly, site clean and tidy. Yes the rules regarding no swim shorts (have to wear trunks) ARE enforced I'm afraid guys! Thought the prices in the shop, restaurant, bar, laundry, excessively steep; even allowing for our poor exchange rate. Didn't matter-plenty of supermarkets within easy drive, and the resort of St. Aubin has plenty of nice restaurants. Festyland amusement park worth a visit - mainly for young children but enough to keep my teens amused too. Also enjoyed Zoo de Jerques, and recommend a day out to Honfleur via the coast road through Deauville and Trouville. Husband loved all the D-day landing stuff, museum at Arromanches, coastal guns, Pegasus bridge and Cafe Gondree which was the first house liberated in France. The owner was four years old at the time. Many photos, letters and memorabilia inside the cafe which is very moving.
