Coming back from a stay at this campsite, I can confirm that it really is a very pleasant site. There is a brand new pool complex, with large slides, indoor and outdoor pools with geysers and waterfalls, indoor and outdoor paddling pools, as well as a well-made and really fun lazy river, also indoor/outdoor. I thought that the pool complex, of which the internal part is covered by a dome where the air is warm, was very like the pool complexes that you find at Centre Parcs, though smaller. The self-service/takeaway/bar area is looking a bit dated, but the receptionist told me that this part would be renovated for the following year (2009). The campsite is in a perfect location: facing the beach 1km from the centre of Bénodet along the shore. There are two toilet blocks; one very good, brand new, and another more timeworn. The sport facilities are not actually in the campsite, but a short walk soon gets you there. The campsite is dominated by several large tour operators: Keycamp, Eurocamp, Canvas, Matthews, Campotel. In summary, a high-quality campsite, that I can’t wait to see next year with the services part renovated.
