If you want to have a crap holiday, then go to Camping de Bodri on Corsica.
There is no infrastructure, although the prices are high.
No pool, bare earth everywhere without a blade of grass, no entertainment in the evening, an expensive shop, which is closed between noon and 5pm (just when you need it if you’ve forgotten something for the afternoon) and above all a terrible atmosphere!
I’ll explain: this campsite also offers bungalows, and the whole lot belongs to just one family. The family was splitting due to financial differences, and decided to separate the bungalows from the campsite, each part of the family keeping their part of the site under tight surveillance! François and one part of the family deals with the bungalows, and the others with the campsite, and it’s war!
The poor holidaymakers who want to have a nice stay pay the cost of this disagreement, suffering the unpleasant attitudes shown every day. This place should be banned, and I advise everyone not to go near it.
My brother hired a bungalow with his wife and kids, and my friend and I were in the campsite. We often ate and spent time together in the bungalow, but François spied through the windows to see what we were up to. And people from the campsite stopped my brother from joining us on the beach (even though it’s a direct path) and lots of other acts in the same style! Summary: they did all they could to spoil our holidays, of which we had expected so much.
No debate was possible, despite our repeated requests for explanations. We wanted to lance the boil, be we were stonewalled. Their family quarrel has nothing to do with their guests, and I find their behaviour scandalous.
