Arriving full of good intentions to join in the grape picking around Valréas, me and a friend, after 8 hours of travel, were rejected with little sympathy on entry to the campsite, for the simple reason that we were grape-pickers.
The only arguments presented to us (in the rain, as apparently grape-pickers are not even allowed in the reception office) was that “grape-pickers break everything”.
That’s a good way to make a specific case into a generality.
I strongly recommend against this campsite, which will leave a bad taste in our mouths for a long time.
