Lordine Court Caravan & Camping Park

Ewhurst Green, Staplecross, Robertsbridge

This campsite was easy to find with excellent directions. Arrival times - after 9am and check out by 1pm The campsite offered a swimming pool -chilly- at a minimal extra cost; bar which provided basic pub food; a basic shop and playground. The tent pitches were on a large sloping field- but well protected from winds. The toilets were clean- generally; but need modernising and extra shower and dishwashing facilities would be convenient. The price was good- but you get what you pay for . Too many dogs- and the entire place, while well maintained, and run by accommodating staff is in need of an uplift. I would give this site 5/10

Scotts Farm Camping Site

Cakeham Road, West Wittering, Chichester

I visited the camp site in July 2011 and was very happy with my holiday! Great and clean facilities and an amazing sandy play area for the kids. Closest out of all to the beach and shops and well worth going to!

Sumners Ponds

Slaughterford Farm, Barns Green, Horsham

This is a great venue- we have just taken our two young boys (8 & 7) for a 4 day break, and stumbled upon 'pod camping' on Google. These fantastic little 'wooden igloos' are warm (with heaters included), clean and have huge appeal for young kids. The staff were all incredibly helpful and constantly asking if everything was to our satisfaction. The on- site angler (Alan) was patient and gave his time freely to help the boys try fishing for the first time- the lakes are stunning, clean and they must be full of fish, as we landed several with no real idea what we were doing! There's also a football pitch on site, a great local shop and very welcoming local pub 2 mins away. All in all, a highly recommended camp site and we will certainly be returning - faultless.
